The AI language tutor you talk to out loud.

It hears your mistakes while you speak, fixes them on the spot, and remembers them next time.

A four-minute spoken placement. No card, nothing to install.

A demonstration of a Lumen session. The learner says they wake up at seven and go to gym, and that it help them have energy. The tutor corrects both mistakes, to “go to the gym” and “it helps me”, saves them, teaches the word “refreshed” for “descansado”, and sets one piece of homework.

Continuing from your last session

Hey! Last time you said you want to sound more natural — so let's keep working on that. Tell me what your morning looks like.

Hi! I wake up at seven and go to gym. It help me to have more energy.

A scripted demo of a real Lumen session — a Spanish speaker learning English.

This is what it looks like.

Your tutor remembers. Your streak does too.

Most AI conversations start from nothing.
This one opens where you stopped.

Every class opens with what you covered, what you fixed, and what you’re about to forget.

Saved words come back at 1, 3, 7, 14, 30 and 60 days — inside the conversation, not on flashcards.

Before you start

Is it really free to start?

Yes. You answer some setup questions, then have a four-minute spoken placement with Lumen and get a plan built around how you actually speak. No card, no account, nothing to install. Lessons after that need a plan, and a first plan starts with three days free.

Which languages can I learn?

Seven: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese. You can pick from more than eighty native languages when you start, so explanations come back in your own.

Is there an Android app?

Not yet — the iPhone app is on the App Store and there is no Play Store listing. On Android, Windows or a Mac, Lumen runs in your browser: the same tutor, the same plan, nothing to install.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from your account settings. Cancel before your renewal date and you keep full access until the current period ends.

How long is a session?

Classes are 5, 10 or 15 minutes and you schedule them yourself. Role-play scenes are five minutes. The free placement conversation is four.

Nobody is listening but your tutor.

It can’t be embarrassed for you. It won’t tire of the same mistake. It never sighs.

Everything above runs right here in your browser.
